Approximately 20 minutes south of Playacar, the private resort of Puerto Aventuras boasts the main marina south of Cancun. It offers a selection of restaurants and bars and a few shops selling traditional Mexican arts and jewellery.

Eating Out: There are about 12 restaurants in Puerto Aventuras, ranging from a steak house to traditional Mexican fare.

Evening Entertainment: Take a stroll along the marina and watch the world to by. The livelier resort of Playacar/Playa del Carmen with its many shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife is approx. 20 minutes by taxi.

Shopping: There is a good range of shops to browse selling traditional Mexican arts and jewellery.
