Discover the real Jamaica in this bustling town, with its international restaurants, fast-food outlets and selection of bars. The three sandy beaches offer great water sports facilities and you'll find shops selling everything from local crafts to beach fashions. 10 minutes from the airport.

Braco

Attracting beach lovers and sun worshippers, Braco stretches along the waters edge between Falmouth and Runaway Bay - putting both within easy reach for shopping and sightseeing. With no 'centre' as such, its sandy shoreline is hemmed by quality hotels offering varied facilities for sport and leisure. A good choice for water sports enthusiast 40 minutes from the airport.

Ocho Rios

A well established, purpose built resort, Ocho Rios boasts a good range of international restaurants, low key nightlife attractions and a variety of craft markets and duty free shops. The soft, pale sands of Turtle Beach are very popular, as are nearby Dunn's River Falls. 120 minutes from the airport.

Runaway Bay

This truly relaxing resort is set on a quiet stretch of coastline, with an easy going atmosphere. There are a number of sandy beaches nearby, some of which are private, and shopping is in Ocho Rios, a 30 minute drive away. 90 minutes from the airport.

Negril

The best beach in Jamaica, with seven miles of sands, is the undoubted highlight of this laid back resort. Enjoying a secluded location on the west coast, Negril has excellent tourist facilities including plentiful restaurants, bars and nightlife venues, plus souvenir and craft shops.

Falmouth

A typical Jamaican village set on white sandy beaches with a selection of craft stalls and souvenir shops and a weekly market. Falmouth was designed by British settlers, based on the UK town of the same name. A perfect beach holiday base. 45 minutes from the airport.
