LANZAROTE
With a climate borrowed form its West African near-neighbours, a culture that embodies the very best of Spanish tradition, and resort attractions the envy of any rival, Lanzarote still has an atmosphere and charm of its own. Perhaps it's the stringent building restrictions preventing any high-rise construction. Perhaps it's the eerie lunar landscape - the creation of over 100 volcanic mountains on the island, and the perfect location for breathtaking jeep (and even camel) safaris. Perhaps it's the persuasive scent of hibiscus and bougainvillea that permeates all of our hand-picked accommodation. Most likely it's the combination of all of the above that makes Lanzarote such a perennial favourite. From the busy bars of Puerto del Carmen to the tranquillity of Playa Blanca, the island remains one of our most popular destinations.
