Two green, mountainous promontories extend to the sea to form the huge bay of Laganas, with its soft, gently shelving sands and clear, shallow waters.

One of the most popular resorts on the island, particularly with party goers, it is a place where people can relax and soak up the sun by day then live it up by night.

Eating Out: There's plenty of choice including Greek, English, Chinese, Italian, Indian and fast food.

Evening Entertainment: Very lively with nightlife in abundance, choose from the range of bars, discos bars and the night clubs which stay open until the early hours of the morning.

Shopping: Plenty of souvenir shops, a few clothes shops and a couple of jewellery shops.

Lace work and rugs in particular are good bargains.
